Feeding Hope. Nourishing Lives.
Inspired by a mother’s love, Adeline Jean provides food and resources for those who need them most.
OUR STORY
Growing up with food insecurities, I remember my mother, Adeline Jean, searching for discarded soft drink bottles so she could turn them in for money to buy milk and bread. As a child, I watched her go without so that I could eat — often scraping together loose change to make ends meet.
While living in Indiana, a local market extended credit to regular customers who came up short. When there was no money left for groceries, she reluctantly accepted that offer — always with a heavy heart.
Adeline Jean made sure that no one who came through her door went hungry. Her quiet strength and selflessness inspired the organization that now carries her name.
