Adeline Jean was born in South Bend, Indiana, on April 28, 1922.
Living through the Great Depression with her parents and three siblings, she knew hardship. Nothing was easy, food was scarce, and people survived day to day. Adeline Jean graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, had dreams of becoming a singer and worked in a factory during World War II. She married and raised three children. At the time of her passing, she was a grandmother and great grandmother.
Above all else, she left a legacy of love, integrity, kindness, selflessness and generosity.
Adeline Jean provides financial resources to purchase, prepare and serve food for the homeless and those in greatest need in Los Angeles, California, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, through its Adeline Jean Feeds LA and Adeline Jean Feeds FLA programs. Guided by that same spirit of care, we also support organizations that fund select college scholarships and support animal rescue shelters.
A world where no one goes hungry, students in need have a path to education, and every animal has a safe home.
Adeline Jean Feeds LA & Adeline Jean Feeds FLA are programs under the Adeline Jean umbrella that are designed to support organizations that prepare and serve food for the homeless.
Adeline Jean is currently not a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
